How Reanimate works

The Lab sells your ghost at whatever its own curve or pool pays today, then buys $GRAVE with the proceeds. Most ghosts return dust. The tombstone is the real prize.

What it does not do

• No subsidy and no fixed rate. A ghost is worth what its own liquidity pays, nothing more.
• No vault. Every sale and every buy goes from your wallet straight to the pons curve or the Uniswap pool. We never hold your tokens or your ETH.
• No promises. Most ghosts return dust, and the Lab says so before you sign.

Which ghosts

Only tokens launched on pons (v1 or v2). Dead and Ghost tokens qualify; Haunted tokens only with fewer than 20 transfers in the last 7 days. Alive and Zombie tokens never do. The labels are explained in How we label.

• pons v2, still on its curve: sold straight back to its own bonding curve. The curve always buys back until the token graduates. The standard fee and that token's creator fee come off the proceeds.
• pons v1: sold in its Uniswap v3 pool against WETH, and the WETH is turned into ETH.
• pons v2, graduated: not handled by the Lab. You can still bury it.

How it goes

1. Your autopsy lists the eligible ghosts with their Remains (estimated ETH) and the price impact of selling.
2. You sign the exact approval and the sale for each ghost from your own wallet. The ETH lands in your wallet; we are never in the middle.
3. The Lab fills in the buy amount, and you sign the $GRAVE buy.
4. Each ghost gets a tombstone, or its tombstone gets a line saying what it was reborn as.

Wallets that can batch transactions send every step with one confirmation. Other wallets ask for one signature per step.

The guards

• Every number is an estimate. The quote is read again right before you sign.
• Every sale has a minimum output 1% below the quote, so a quote that moves against you fails instead of filling badly.
• If a sale would move its curve or pool by more than 10%, the Lab asks you to confirm again; by more than 30%, the sale is closed and the Lab suggests burying it instead.
• If the Remains are less than 3 times the estimated gas, the Lab says it is not worth reanimating and only offers Bury.
• Approvals are for the exact amount of each sale. Never unlimited.
