How we label
Every label is a measurement from public onchain data, not an opinion about a project or the people behind it. Labels are heuristics computed from public onchain data. Not financial advice, not an accusation.
The labels
| Label | What it means | On the card |
|---|---|---|
| Alive | In the last 7 days: at least 100 transfers and at least 50 holders, counted as for Haunted. It cannot be buried or reanimated. | Still breathing |
| Zombie | No transfers in the 30 days before the last 7, after earlier activity, then at least 50 transfers in the last 7 days. | Rose again (buried anyway) |
| Haunted | The top 10 holders own 60% or more of what all holders hold together. Holders here are every address except the protocol's own contracts, pools and burn addresses. | Too few hands held it |
| Dead | At most 5 transfers in the last 14 days and, where its pons curve or pool can be measured, less than 0.05 ETH of liquidity. A token that has graduated to its locked pool always holds more than that there, so it is never Dead. | Volume flatlined |
| Ghost | A flag on your wallet, not on the token: you still hold it, none of it has come into or left your wallet for 30 days or more, and the token had fewer than 20 transfers in the last 7 days. | Went silent |
| Unknown | Not enough data (a token less than a day old that is not Alive, a data source that failed, a token we cannot read), or it fits none of the rules. | Cause unknown |
When more than one fits
A token gets one label: the first that fits, in this order: Alive, Zombie, Haunted, Dead, Ghost, Unknown. Alive, Zombie, Haunted, Dead and Unknown are about the token and read the same in every wallet. Ghost is about your wallet and shows only when no token label comes first.
Alive tokens can never be buried or reanimated, so a living project never shows up as dead on a card.
Entry timing
- Early: bought in the first 10 minutes after the token launched.
- Bought the top: bought within 20% of the highest price of its pons stage.
Estimated P/L
We compare the ETH a wallet spent buying on the token's pons curve with the ETH it got back from selling there, plus what the rest would sell for today. Trades after a token graduated, and trades in pons v1 pools, are not counted, so the card says estimated (pons stage only). If any of the token left the wallet another way (sent to another address, or sold through a router), or a sale paid its ETH to someone else, the curve trades no longer tell the whole story and the card says Unknown. Where we cannot measure it, the card says Unknown too. A wrong number costs more than an honest Unknown.
Remains
What selling the token today would return, estimated from its own curve or pool. We never assume a dead token is worth zero, and we never promise a number: the Lab re-reads the quote right before you sign a sale.
Where the data comes from
Only public onchain data from Robinhood Chain: wallet balances and transfers, holder spread and activity, pons launch records, pons curve trades and current sale quotes, read through the chain's Blockscout explorer and an RPC provider. Results are cached for a few minutes; token-level numbers refresh hourly.
